Slow Cooker Crock Pot

1 pkg
navy beans
flour to coat stewing beef
3 Tbsp
canola oil
3 pkg
stewing beef cut into 1" chunks
1 pkg
short ribs (bone in)
2 can(s)
(29 oz. each) bush country style brown beans
1 can(s)
6 Tbsp
brown sugar
4 tsp
dry mustard powder
small bottle of ketchup
2 Tbsp
onion powder or dried minced onion
1/4 tsp
1/2 bottle
louisiana hot sauce

How to Make Baked Beans


  • 1Soak beans overnight in water, drain in the morning and rinse thoroughly.
  • 2Brown flour covered beef in frying pan using oil accordingly
  • 3Dump into crock pot
  • 4Put in the rinsed Navy beans, the 2 cans of Bush Country Style brown beans, add one can full of water and remaining ingredients, stir well. cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • 5Let cool and reheat in the morning for another 4-6 hours.
