- 1/2 pound cooked medium noodles
- 3 - eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 - apples, sliced or chopped
- 1/4 cup golden raisins (optional)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (optional)
- TOPPING
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
How To Make apple noodle kugel

Step 1Mix melted butter with cooked noodles.

Step 2Add egg yolks, sugar, and other ingredients and mix well.

Step 3Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle on top with a cinnamon-sugar mixture, if desired. Topping: Mix ingredients together.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned. Serve hot.
