Made these for the holidays one year. Jeremy was the only one who was brave enough to taste them and like Mikey, he liked them.

3 lb
whole button mushrooms
1/2 c
2 c
burgandy wine
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
dried dill weed
1/2 tsp
black pepper
chicken bouillon cubes
beef bouillon cubes

How to Make All Day Mushrooms


  • 1With a wet paper towel; wipe away any dirt from the mushroom caps and stems. Place mushrooms in a large stockpot.
  • 2Add in the remaining ingredients to the pot. The liquid will not cover the mushrooms at first. Cook, covered, over very low heat for 4 hours; stirring occasionally so that the mushrooms are completely coated with cooking liquid.
  • 3Remove the cover and cook for an additional 4 hours. The mushrooms will shrink by half and become saturated with cooking liquid. Remove with a slotted spoon and serve in a bowl.
