Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can(s)
unsweetened, crushed pineapple
1/3 c
butter, softened
1/2 c
sugar

eggs
2
egg whites
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
5 slice
white bread, cubed

How to Make Pineapple Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Drain pineapple and reserve 1 c. juice. Set both aside.
  • 2In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  • 3Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • 4Beat in egg whites.
  • 5Stir in flour then reserved pineapple and juice.
  • 6Gently fold in bread cubes.
  • 7Coat a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray. Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish.
  • 8Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is lightly golden. Serve warm.
