Ingredients

  • 1-16 Oz. can(s)
    pineapple tidbits in juice (drained)
  • 1-16 Oz. can(s)
    crushed pineapple in syrup (not drained)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1/4 c
    milk

How to Make Paula's Baked Pineapple

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8x8 baking dish.
  2. Stir sugar and corn starch together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat in the egg until well incorporated.
  4. Stir in the milk.
  5. Add the pineapples and mix well.
  6. Pour into prepared baking dish, dot with more butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired
  7. Bake for 1 hour (until center is no longer jiggly or wet) and there is a nice browned look on top.
