This is a great side for Easter ham.

Ingredients

  • 1-16 Oz. can pineapple tidbits in juice (drained)
  • 1-16 Oz. can crushed pineapple in syrup (not drained)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 cup milk

How To Make paula's baked pineapple

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8x8 baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Stir sugar and corn starch together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 3
    Beat in the egg until well incorporated.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the milk.
  • Step 5
    Add the pineapples and mix well.
  • Step 6
    Pour into prepared baking dish, dot with more butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired
  • Step 7
    Bake for 1 hour (until center is no longer jiggly or wet) and there is a nice browned look on top.
