This has been on my Thanksgiving Table for years! It should be dessert! One year I told my family I wasn't going to make it..there was almost a mutiny!

Ingredients
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, whole canned mashed
- 2 sticks butter softened
- 1 cup canned evaporated milk
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup corn flakes crushed
- 1/2 cup pecans crushed
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
How To Make sweet potato casserole

Step 1Mix mashed sweet potatotes 3/4 stick softened butter, Evaporated Milk, White Sugar, eggs, cinnamon & vanilla with an electric mixer. Put in casserole dish & bakea t 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 2Topping: Melt 3/4 stick of butter, mix with cornflakes, pecans & brown sugar. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 more minutes OR when a knife or toothpick is inserted comes out clean.
