    small can of coconut
  • 3 c
    cooked sweet potatoes, drained if using canned
  • 1/2 stick
    real butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • dash(es)
    salt
  • TOPPING

  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 3/4 stick
    butter, melted

How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350*. Place drained sweet potatoes in a 9x12 casserole dish. Mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla,and 1/2 stick of melted butter together. Add coconut. Spoon over sweet potatoes.
  2. Mix brown sugar, flour, and 3/4 stick melted butter and pecans together until well coated. Spoon over sweet potatoes. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes.
