Thanksgiving is not complete without this wonderful side dish at our house. I got this recipe from my ex- mother in law who is an excellent southern cook. Thanks Bonnie!

Ingredients
- 3 cups boiled and peeled sweet potatoes, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- TOPPING
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup butter
How To Make sweet potato casserole

Step 1Combine all ingredients except topping and mix well.

Step 2Pour into an 8x8 buttered dish and set aside.

Step 3In a separate bowl, combine all topping ingredients until crumbly.

Step 4Crumble topping evenly over the potatoes.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
