Ingredients

  • 7
    sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 c
    butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c
    evaporated milk
  • 2 medium
    eggs
  • ·
    cinnamon or nutmeg to taste
  • TOPPING

  • 1 c
    crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4 c
    butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped

How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil sweet potatoes in skin until done, cool, peel, mash and mix with remaining ingredients, except topping.
  2. Place in a greased 3 quart casserole and cover with topping mixture. bake 15 minutes on 375.
