Ingredients

  • 3 c
    mashed sweet potatoes
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/3 c
    butter or margarine (not melted)

How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    1. Mash sweet potatoes adding 3/4 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine. Place in your casserole dish.
  2. Topping: Mix together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 3/4 cup chopped nuts, 1/3 c softened butter or margarine. Bake for 30 minutes or until center has set.
