This recipe was given to Mom by a cousin who brought them to a family reunion. Everyone LOVED them!

Made is a slow cooker or crock pot.

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    (29 ounce) baked beans
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 lb
    cooked, drained, and crumbled bacon
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    cola beverage

How to Make Sweet Cola Baked Beans

Step-by-Step

  1. In slow cooker layer ingredients, pouring a portion of the cola on top of each layer until everything is in the pot. Cover and cook on slow heat for 4 hours or longer, as preferred. Longer slow cooking time blends flavors better.
