got this off the internet, where i get most recipes...i added butter beans and some sausage, just because i had them on hand.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon diced
  • 1 cup country sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can pork and beans drained
  • 1 can lima beans drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 package sharp cheddar cheese cubed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make st. james baked beans

  • Step 1
    heat oven 325 butter 11/2 quart casserole
  • Step 2
    in small skillet saute bacon and onions till bacon is crisp and onions are lite brown,brown sausage, drain well.
  • Step 3
    in a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. add bacon-onion-sausage mixture, mix well
  • Step 4
    pour mixture into casserole bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours
