My daughter-in-law Karen gave me this recipe. We always ask her to fix it for family dinners and holidays.

  • 2 lb
    sliced cooked yellow squash
  • 1 c
  • 1 small
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 2
  • 1 1/2 c
    soft bread crumbs or 2 slices of cubed bread
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Squash Casserole


  1. Cook squash until tender.
  2. Combine bread crumbs with melted butter and set aside.
  3. Mix everything else with squash and pour into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Pour bread crumb mixture on top.
    Cook for 30 minutes at 350 deg.
