This is my momma's squash casserole. I know of no one who makes it quite like she does. My favorite is when she adds the crumbled pork sausage. Makes my mouth water just thinkin' about it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans squash, drained
  • 1 - onion, small, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package pepperidge farm herb stuffing (8 oz)
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 pound pork sausage, cooked, crumbled (optional)

How To Make squash casserole

  • Step 1
    Mix all of the ingredients together.
  • Step 2
    Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
