Ingredients

  • 15-16 ounces can whole kernel corn
  • Half cup whole milk or half & half
  • 29-30 ounces cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup plain white sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup slightly cooled melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons slap ya momma low salt seasoning or other cajun ap seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon white or black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup corn starch

How To Make southern creamed corn casserole

  • Step 1
    Whisk eggs lightly then combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Step 2
    If using canned corn please drain the whole corn before adding it into the bowl with the other ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour or until golden brown on top and firm in the center
