Ingredients
- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1 pound shrimp
- 4 cups yellow onions
- 1 cup celery
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 ounces shredded american cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 cans evaporated milk
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup self rising flour
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
- 3 tablespoons green onion
How To Make shrimp and crabmeat augratin

Step 1Clean shrimp, and slice in half. Boil shrimp in 3 cups of water and a pinch of Cajun seasoning. Strain and set aside.

Step 2Finely chop onions and celery, and add to a large saucepan with melted butter..cover and simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3Add salt and pepper, flour, and cheese. On medium heat cook until cheese melts. Stir in 2 cans of evaporated milk. In separate bowl mix egg yolks with remaining cans of milk.

Step 4Turn heat to low, gradually add egg mixture to saucepan cook until creamy. Add parsley flakes, green onions, shrimp, and crabmeat. Spoon into a 9x13 pan…refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Step 5Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees F. Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
