  • 1 lb
    lump crab meat
  • 1 lb
  • 4 c
    yellow onions
  • 1 c
  • 4 oz
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz
    shredded american cheese
  • 1 stick
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 4 can
    evaporated milk
  • 2 lg
    egg yolks
  • 1/2 c
    self rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 3 Tbsp
    green onion

How To Make shrimp and crabmeat augratin

    Clean shrimp, and slice in half. Boil shrimp in 3 cups of water and a pinch of Cajun seasoning. Strain and set aside.

    Finely chop onions and celery, and add to a large saucepan with melted butter..cover and simmer on low heat for 20-30 minutes.

    Add salt and pepper, flour, and cheese. On medium heat cook until cheese melts. Stir in 2 cans of evaporated milk. In separate bowl mix egg yolks with remaining cans of milk.

    Turn heat to low, gradually add egg mixture to saucepan cook until creamy. Add parsley flakes, green onions, shrimp, and crabmeat. Spoon into a 9x13 pan…refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees F. Let set for 10 minutes before serving.
