How to Make Scalloped Oysters
1Butter the bottom of a casserole dish. *(Saving the rest of the butter for later use)
Crush the crackers real fine. (I do one roll of crackers at a time in a plastic bag).
2Place one roll of the crushed crackers into the casserole dish, covering up the butter.
Place the oysters on top of the crackers, arranging them around the dish, following with the liquid from the oysters.
3Apply the other bag of crushed crackers on top of the oysters, spreading the crackers to cover.
*Melt the remaining butter and drizzle over all ingredients.
4Using your forefinger, poke 6-8 holes into the ingredients and fill each hole with the cream.
Bake at 350 degree oven, until lightly brown.
