Ingredients For scalloped apple bake

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspooon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups cornbread stuffing
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 16 oz. can whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 4 large apples, peeled and sliced

How To Make scalloped apple bake

  • 1
    Combine butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, zest and pecans and stuffing mix.
  • 2
    Combine apples, cranberry sauce and juice.
  • 3
    Mix 1/2 of stuffing mixture into apples, cranberry sauce and juice.
  • 4
    Spread into a buttered casserole dish.
  • 5
    Sprinkle rest of stuffing mixture over top.
  • 6
    Bake @ 375 for 40 minutes.
