sausage and rice casserole
This is 1 of the many recipes that I have developed over my lifetime of outdoor life.

Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk hot sausage
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup green pepper
- 2 cans (10 3/4 oz.) chicken broth
- 1 cup uncooked regular rice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make sausage and rice casserole

Step 1Brown sausage in a heavy skillet.

Step 2Drain 1/2 of the grease off.

Step 3Add celery, onion, and green pepper.

Step 4Simmer until tender.

Step 5Add broth, rice and seasonings.

Step 6Stir to mix.

Step 7Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish.

Step 8Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
