Pineapple Cheese Casserole

I had this a few years back for the first time and really liked it. It's a good choice for something different as a side dish.

pineapple tidbits, drain and reserve juice
3 Tbsp
5 Tbsp
reserved pineapple juice
1 8 oz pkg
shredded cheddar cheese
1 c
ritz type crackers, crushed
2 Tbsp
1 stick
butter, melted

How to Make Pineapple Cheese Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter a casserole baking dish.
  • 2Combine flour and pineapple juice, mix well. In a bowl stir flour mixture into the pineapple. Pour into the casserole dish.
  • 3Combine the cheese, crackers, sugar and melted butter. Sprinkle this topping over the pineapple in the casserole dish.
  • 4Bake for 40-45 minutes till bubbly and browned some on top.
