Mom got this at a party
Ingredients

2 can(s)drained, party peas
-
1 can(s)water chessnuts-sliced to bite size -undrained
-
1 jar(s)pimento -cut fine
-
1 stickbutter
-
1 can(s)mushroom soup
-
1 cchopped onion
-
1 cchopped celery
-
1 cchopped green pepper
-
1 can(s)chow mein noodles, save some for topping

·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Pea Casserole
- Put butter in a skillet, add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook until tender
- Mix skillet mixture with peas, pimientos, water chessnuts, soup and most of the noodles.
- Pour into a baking dish, top with some noodles. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
