  • 2 can(s)
    drained, party peas
  • 1 can(s)
    water chessnuts-sliced to bite size -undrained
  • 1 jar(s)
    pimento -cut fine
  • 1 stick
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    chow mein noodles, save some for topping
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Pea Casserole


  1. Put butter in a skillet, add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook until tender
  2. Mix skillet mixture with peas, pimientos, water chessnuts, soup and most of the noodles.
  3. Pour into a baking dish, top with some noodles. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
