2 can(s)
drained, party peas
1 can(s)
water chessnuts-sliced to bite size -undrained
1 jar(s)
pimento -cut fine
1 stick
butter
1 can(s)
mushroom soup
1 c
chopped onion
1 c
chopped celery
1 c
chopped green pepper
1 can(s)
chow mein noodles, save some for topping
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Pea Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put butter in a skillet, add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook until tender
  • 2Mix skillet mixture with peas, pimientos, water chessnuts, soup and most of the noodles.
  • 3Pour into a baking dish, top with some noodles. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
