Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups grits
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 small onions, vidalia, peeled
- 4 tablespoons butter, cold
- 1 1/4 cups parmigiano-reggiano, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 large eggs
How To Make parmesan-vidalia grits bake

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Boil water ; add grits, stir. Cook 25 min. Saute onion in olive oil. Add onion, butter, 1 cup parmesan, salt and pepper to grits. Cool 20 min.

Step 2Add beaten eggs. Pour into greased 2 qt. dish. Sprinkle 1/4 cup parmesan on top. Bake 40 to 50 min.
