Ingredients
- 1 pound macaroni, elbow, dry
- 2 cups cheese, sharp cheddar, shredded
- 2 cups cheese, colby jack, shredded
- 8 ounces velvetta, cubed
- 1 stick butter, divided
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups bread crumbs, panko
- 2 tablespoons parsley, dried
- - salt and pepper
How To Make panko-crusted easy cheesy macaroni casserole

Step 1HEAT oven to 350°F. Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain and rinse.

Step 2MELT butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour; cook 2 min., stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk and heavy whipping cream. Bring to boil; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until thickened. Add VELVEETA; and other cheese. Cook 3-5 mins or until melted, stirring frequently. Stir in macaroni. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3SPOON into casserole dish. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in microwave. Stir in bread crumbs and parsley. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture over casserole. Garnish with additional parsley.

Step 4Bake for 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
