Broccoli was not a favorite vegetable for me. I had tried all kinds of recipes. Then I started mixing ingredients that suited my taste & came up with this recipe, now this is the one I make. I also like broccoli in salads now too.

1 1/2 lb
broccoli or 2---10 oz. pkg. of frozen
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c
milk
3/4 c
shredded cheese (cheddar)
1 c
bisquick
1/4 c
margarine (melted)

How to Make My very favorite Broccoli Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook Broccoli in very little of water, mostly steam. Drain and chop. Put in a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish.
  • 2Beat soup & milk together. Pour over broccoli.
  • 3Sprinkle cheese over mixture.
  • 4Mix butter & bisquick together until crumbly. Sprinkle over cheese.
  • 5Bake @ 400 degrees--20 mins. or until medium brown.
