When you go picnicing in my family it is just not a picnic without Mom's Picnic Bean's, potato salad or macaroni salad!!

  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 2 can(s)
    1 pound cans baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 lb
    can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp
    cidar vinegar

How to Make Mom's Picnic Beans - Ranch Style


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In large skillet, melt butter and brown meat.
    Stir in, soup mix, beans, catsup, water, mustard, and vinegar.
  3. Pour bean mixture into a prepared (non stick spray) 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
