When I babysat a young girl named Jenna, I also took her back and forth to Head Start. Because of her, I helped make a Head Start recipe book as a fundraiser for all of the children. This recipe was added to that book, and I made it often while she was here because it was a favorite of hers.

How To Make kidney bean casserole, jenna's

1Fry meat and onion, drain. Put 1/2 in bottom of a casserole, then half beans and cheese. Repeat a second layer. Butter bread and slice into 4 pieces each. Arrange on top, butter side up, and bake 30 min at 375 degrees until bread is browned.
