This recipe belonged to the mother of a high school friend of mine. Not only is it packed with great taste, but it's intersting, eye-catching appeal is something to behold.

I make this recipe 6 to 8 times yearly. (That's a lot considering I have so many recipes.)

The macaroni casserole picture reflects a substitute of shell macaroni.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pimento
  • 1/4 c
    bell pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 c
    sharp grated cheese
  • ·
    bread crumbs, buttered for topping

How to Make Joy's Macaroni

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingredients topped with buttered bread crumbs.
  2. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.
