Ingredients

  • 2 cans large cans mushrooms drained
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded chedder cheese
  • 1 - drizzle of zesty italian dressing

How To Make jackie's (my better half) mushrooms

  • Step 1
drain mushrooms and add to baking dish with chopped onions , minced garlic, chopped onion and bell pepper
  • Step 2
cut block of cream cheese up into cubes and add to mushrooms, onion, bellpepper, and garlic mixture.
  • Step 3
bake at 375 (again I use my toaster oven, I love my toaster oven) for about 40 to 50 minutes. It depends on how much your drizzle of dressing is. You don't want it wet.
  • Step 4
Pull it out and stir in a cup or a good handful of chedder cheese and break up the blocks of cream cheese and mix it all really well.
  • Step 5
Bake for another 10 to 15 min. Goes great with fried chicken ar any steak. We put it on our steak instead of steak sause. I usually make this first and while its cooking, go get the charcoal ready and set and enjoy the fire outside and just enjoy the day God made for me. Then cook the steaks. By that time the steaks are done and its time to eat.
