- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 - egg yolks
- 3 - egg whites
- 1 stick garlic cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup grits
How To Make grit casserole

Step 1Add 1/2 cup grits to boiling water and salt.

Step 2Cook until it begins to thicken.

Step 3Beat egg yolks and egg whites separately.

Step 4Stir in cut up cheese and yolks while grits are still hot.

Step 5Pour into a casserole.

Step 6Fold in stiff egg whites and bake in oven until done.
