Ingredients
- 6 medium gold potatoes
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 3/4 cups green onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
How To Make golden potato casserole

Step 1Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water to cover for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain and let cool.

Step 2Peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Combine the grated potato, sour cream, and the next 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.

Step 3Spoon the potato mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

Step 4Combine the bread crumbs and melted butter in a small bowl; stir well. Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the casserole.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
