i made a second recipe of garlic parmesan creation,it takes on scalloped potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese,divided
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 cup cold heavy cream
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 8 ounces cream cheese,softened
  • 1 bottle garlic parmesan sauce
  • 8 medium russet potatoes
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

How To Make garlic parmesan scalloped potatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Coat a shallow 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.Add 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese.
  • Step 3
    Heat garlic butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.Combine heavy cream,half and half,cream cheese,garlic parmesan sauce and remaining shredded parmesan cheese;stir well;let it simmer for 5 minutes until smooth and creamy.

    Remove from heat.Cool for 10 minutes.

    Peel and thick sliced the potatoes;pat dry with paper towel.Season with garlic powder.
  • Step 6
    Layer half the potatoes in prepared baking dish;top with half the cream mixture and half the cheeses.Repeat layers.
  • Step 7
    Bake,covered,at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.Uncover and continue baking until potatoes are tender,20 to 25 minutes longer.
  • Step 8
    Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
