garlic butter green bean casserole
This new green bean casserole recipe I created is based on Grill Mates' Garlic Butter seasoning. It's great with fried pork chops and garlic bread.

Ingredients
- 2 cups herb seasoned croutons, divided
- 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter seasoning, divided
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 medium purple onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 banana peppers, sliced
- 1 tablespoon garlic butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
How To Make garlic butter green bean casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

Step 3Add 1 cup herb seasoned croutons, 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon, and 1 tablespoon garlic butter seasoning; mix well.

Step 4Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add green beans, sliced purple onion, and sliced banana peppers. Saute for 7 minutes or until they are tender.

Step 5Season with 2 tablespoons of garlic butter seasoning; mix well. Remove from heat.

Step 6Heat the garlic butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Step 7Combine heavy cream, soup, cream cheese, and remaining garlic butter seasoning. Stir well and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes until thickened.

Step 8Add green bean mixture; mix well for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 9Pour into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining herb seasoned croutons.

Step 10Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
