My son says these Baked Beans are more like a chili. Whatever you choose to call them, the result is "delicious"!

green beams, drained
1 (15oz) can(s)
kidney beans, drained
1 (15oz) can(s)
black beans, drained
2 sm can(s)
pork and beans
1 lg
onion, chopped
1
green pepper, chopped
1 lb
ground beef
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1 lb
bacon
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c
ketchup
1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
chili powder
1 tsp
garlic powder

How to Make Five Bean Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Cut up bacon,then fry until crisp. Remove bacon from the pan and place on paper towels.
  • 3Add onion and green pepper to pan and fry for several minutes, oir, until crisp tender. Remove and let drain.
  • 4In another pan, fry ground beef until brown. Drain well then add salt and pepper.
  • 5Place all ingredients into a large casserole dish, and mix well.
  • 6Bake in preheated oven, uncovered, for 1 hour.
