Ingredients For family-approved sweet pea casserole

2 cangreen peas, drained (15 oz each)

1 jarpimentos, drained and diced (4 oz)

1 canwater chestnuts, drained and roughly chopped (8 oz)

1 cancream of celery soup (10.5 oz)

1/4 cdiced onion
-
1/2 ccheese, sharp cheddar or Parmesan

2 cbutter crackers, crushed

1/2 cmelted butter
How To Make family-approved sweet pea casserole

1Prepare a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.

2In a bowl, add peas, pimentos, water chestnuts, soup and onion. Gently mix ingredients. Add ingredients to casserole dish and top with cheese over the top.

3In another bowl, mix cracker crumbs and butter .

4Sprinkle cracker crumbs over the cheese.

5Bake casserole for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned on top.
