A friend brought me these when we had them over for dinner a few years ago. I was sceptical at first, but after tasting them I changed my mind. They really are good.

  • ·
    6 cups day- old bread, coarsly chopped
  • ·
    1 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • ·
    3 tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • ·
    1/3 cup celery, chopped
  • ·
    1 1/2 cups melted butter
  • ·
    1 tsp. sage or italian seasoning
  • ·
    1 tsp. salt
  • ·
    1/2 tsp. pepper

How to Make Dressing Balls


  1. Heat butter and saute onion. Combine remaining ingredients.
  2. Pour butter mixture over all and mix well.
  3. Shape into balls ( golf ball size) with hands and press together well.
  4. Place in baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
