granny smith apples, peeled and chopped
2 c
cranberries, fresh
1.5 tsp
lemon juice
1.5 c


1.33 c
oats, quick cooking
1 c
walnuts, chopped
1.33 c
brown sugar
1 stick

How to Make Cranberry Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 325.
  • 2In a shallow 2 quart casserole, mix cranberries and chopped apples.
  • 3In a small bowl mix lemon juice and white sugar; sprinkle this mixture over the cranberries and apples and mix together until just moistened.
  • 4In another bowl mix together all ingredients for topping and sprinkle over the top of the cranberry mixture.
  • 5Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • 6NOTE: Be sure to use quick oats. If regular oats are used the recipe will be runny.
  • 7TIP: Pecans are also great in this recipe!
