I have made this dressing for Thanksgiving for years and it is always a hit. Even people that do not like dressing, loves this! It's time consuming, but can be made in large batches and frozen to use later on.

Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter (or margarine)
- 4 - eggs
- 2 - medium onions (minced fine)
- 2 packages plain bread croutons (butternut is what i use)
- 1 small pan baked cornbread (crumbled)
- 6 slices white (loaf) bread
- - salt, pepper and sage to taste
- 1 - cooked chicken - reserve broth
- - chicken broth
How To Make cornbread stuffing (dressing)

Step 1Mix all ingredients well. Dressing should not be "dry" - it should have a wet/sticky consistency. Stuff chicken or turkey with dressing, or put in a crockpot or aluminum foil. Bake for approximately 1 hour @ 350 degrees.
