Christmas and Thanksgiving we always serve my Aunt's cornbread dressing. It is a different take on most other dressings.

Ingredients
- 1 large fryer chicken, boiled and deboned
- 1 small pkg hamburger meat, browned
- 1 large white onions, chopped
- 2 large green onions, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 4 packages cornbread mix, cooked as per pkg
- 3 large boiled eggs
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 cups chicken broth (saved from the fryer)
- 2 slices toast
How To Make cornbread dressing

Step 1Sautee onions, bell peppers and celery. Crumble cornbread, add chicken, ground meat,onions, peppers and celery. Add raw eggs, Broth, cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of water.

Step 2Mix all together with broth from chicken until very moist. Spread evenly into a large pan. Bake covered for 1 hr. Uncover and bake an additional 30 mins. Don't over cook or it will be dry.
