I have used this recipe 35 years for our Thanksgiving dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cornbread
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 2-1/2 cup light bread
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

How To Make cornbread dressing

  • Step 1
    Mix and pour in a 9 1/2 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 40-60 minutes or 4 hours on high in a crockpot.
