cheezy corn casserole
This recipe is a Korn family favorite. The mixture of sour cream and cheddar cheese gives it an oh so good rich flavor. Serve as a side dish or solo.

Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup butter (1 sticks)
- 2 boxes jiffy corn bread mix
- 2 - eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups med. cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 can cream style corn
- 1 can chopped jalapeno green peppers (mild or med.)
How To Make cheezy corn casserole

Step 1In large frying pan melt butter, add Thinly sliced onion cook until onion is translucent

Step 2take off heat add sour cream and 1/2 of the cheese. let cool for about 10 min.

Step 3In med. mixing bowl combine the jiffy mix, eggs, milk, jalapenos and salt. Mix slightly until all is mix together.

Step 4Add the cornbread mixture to saute onion and sour cream mixture, put all in a 9"x13" greased pan.

Step 5Put the remaining cheese on top. Bake for 30 min.@ 350 degrees or until light golden brown
