sliced mushrooms
2 1/2 c
water

(10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach,thawed
3/4 c
chopped carrots
1/2 c
chopped red onion
1 Tbsp
margarine
2 Tbsp
honey mustard
1 tsp
seasoned pepper
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
1
(8 ounce) package cream cheese,cut into cubes
1 3/4 c
cubed processed american cheese
4 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Cheesy Wild Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a 2-quart casserole dish,combine rice mix and seasoning packet with mushrooms.In a medium saucepan,combine water,spinach,carrot,onion,
    margarine,mustard,seasoned pepper and nutmeg.Bring to boiling;remove from heat.Stir mixture;pour over mixture.Stir in cheeses.
  • 2Bake,covered,in a 350 degrees F oven 20 minutes.Stir mixture.Cover;bake for 15 to 20 minutes more or until rice is tender.Stir again.Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
