cheesy macaroni and cheese (my way)

Had some cheeses to use so this sounded good, turned out very good.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shell macaroni
  • 1 cup smoked gouda
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup mexican blend shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 dash pepper

How To Make cheesy macaroni and cheese (my way)

  • Step 1
    In a saucepan of boiling salted water add macaroni shells, boil about 5 minutes, turn off let sit.
  • Step 2
    In another saucepan add cheeses,milk, cream and butter, cook on medium till all the cheese is melted.
  • Step 3
    Spray a casserole dish, drain macaroni shells, in the sauce pan that cheese sauce is in add the macaroni shells and pepper mix well pour into casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle panko bread crumbs on top, dot with butter, bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until topping is browned.
