  • 1 lb
    ground round
  • 1 1/2 lb
    pork, diced
  • 1 medium
  • ADD:

  • 1 jar(s)
    great northern beans
  • 1 can(s)
    black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans, dark red
  • 1 can(s)
    kidney beans, light red
  • 3 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 3/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced

How to Make Calico Beans


  1. Heat a large frying pan on Med High. Brown beef, pork and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and add to meat mixture.
  3. Turn mixture into a casserole dish, cover and bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hr.
