How to Make Brown Rice Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook ground beef with salt, pepper, sage, and cayenne pepper until browned and no pink remains. Drain.
  • 2Stir in rice, milk, celery, green pepper, onion, soup, and mushrooms.
  • 3Transfer to a lightly oiled 13x9x2-inch pan or large casserole. Sprinkle cheese over top.
  • 4Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until center is bubbly.
