Ingredients
- 4 cups brown rice, cooked
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 teaspoons sage, dried
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 - celery ribs, chopped
- 1/2 large bell pepper
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cans mushrooms (4 oz. cans)
- 4 ounces shredded cheese
How To Make brown rice casserole

Step 1Cook ground beef with salt, pepper, sage, and cayenne pepper until browned and no pink remains. Drain.

Step 2Stir in rice, milk, celery, green pepper, onion, soup, and mushrooms.

Step 3Transfer to a lightly oiled 13x9x2-inch pan or large casserole. Sprinkle cheese over top.

Step 4Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until center is bubbly.
