My mom always made this at Thanksgiving and Christmas so it brings back memories for me. My family loves it. I don't know where Mom got the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3/4 can water (use soup can to measure)
- 10 ounces broccoli florets
- 1 cup minute rice
- 8 ounces cheese, shredded
How To Make broccoli & rice casserole

Step 1Saute onions and celery in the butter.

Step 2Mix the soup, milk, and water in a bowl.

Step 3Add the onions, celery, broccoli and rice to the soup mixture. Put in a casserole pan. Be sure and spray your baking dish.

Step 4Bake 45 minutes at 350. Top with cheese and return to oven approximately 15 minutes, or until cheese melts.
