I received this recipe from a very dear friend a few years back. It's such a wonderful recipe that I decided it needed to be shared with others too. I know you will enjoy it as much as we do. :-)

Ingredients
- 2 Heads - broccoli trimmed down to florets - fresh steamed
- 1 - yellow onion - chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 jar cheez whiz
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 cup rice - cooked (in 2 cups water)
How To Make broccoli rice casserole

Step 1Steam Broccoli Florets until very tender.

Step 2Sauté chopped Onion in Butter or Margarine.

Step 3Add can of Cream of Mushroom Soup to Butter and Onion.

Step 4In very large bowl, combine cooked Rice, mixture of onion, butter & soup, Broccoli, and jar of Cheez Whiz.

Step 5Mix thoroughly and pour into large casserole dish that's been sprayed with Pam or Buttered.

Step 6Bake uncovered @ 350* for 35-45 minutes. Enjoy! :-) TIP: Try to have ingredients warm/hot when mixing so cheese whiz melts easily.
