I worked as a cook at an elementary school and we made this at least once a month. The kids actually loved it and even bought it on our ala-carte line. I've cut down the recipe to fit a family of 5. We never really had a recipe, we just "knew" how to put it together to feed 600 hungry children.

How to Make Broccoli Casserole "school's"

  • 1pre heat oven 350 degrees. spray casserole dish with cooking spray, evenly distribute thawed broccoli. season with salt and pepper
  • 2distribute cheese over top covering all the broccoli. you may use sliced cheese, I prefer kraft's deluxe american cheese 16 slices but grated sharp american is the best, was what the school had.
