boudin cornbread
Growing up in Louisiana for awhile and my mama being from Louisiana we love Boudin sausage. This recipe is easy to make and so delicious. I serve it with greens or black eye peas. It is very tasty.

Ingredients
- 2 packages cornbread mix, mexican style
- 1 can corn, cream-style
- 4 - 6 links of boudin, cooked
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 jalapenos, fresh chopped
How To Make boudin cornbread

Step 1Prepare the cornbread mix as directed on the package. I used Martha White Mexican Style.

Step 2To the cornbread mixture add the can of cream style corn and the chopped jalapeño. (You can use less or more jalapeño depending on your preference)

Step 3Remove the casing from the boudin and crumble the boudin. Add to the cornbread mixture and stir well.

Step 4Add the cheese and stir

Step 5Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.
