Ingredients

  • 1 pound browned hamburger meat (drain grease)
  • 1 can rotel (choose your preference mild,medium,or hot
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package toco seasoning mix (low sodium works best)
  • 1/2 box bag of tostitos
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese, shredded
  • - 9x11 pyrex dish

How To Make beef taco casserole

  • Step 1
    Combine browned meat with toco seasoning,rotel,and cream of mushroom soup
  • Step 2
    Crush tostitos into medium pieces and layer bottom of cooking dish (you will not used the entire bag of tostitos just enough to layer the dish)
  • Step 3
    Spoon half of toco meat mixture over chips
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle half of the cheese over the toco meat mixture
  • Step 5
    Create a second layer of the remaining ingredients; begin with layer of crushed tostitos, toco meat mixture, and cheese
  • Step 6
    Bake 350 Degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Served great with beans,rice,guacamole,or hot sauce
