Ingredients
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 pound ground beef (optional but highly recommended)
- 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 15 ounces can kidney beans, rinsed
- 15 ounces can butter beans, rinsed
- 15 ounces can pork and beans, undrained
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
How To Make barbecue beans

Step 1Cook onion and, if desired, ground beef in a dutch oven, stirring till meat crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Stir in bacon and remaining ingredients, and spoon into a lightly greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Chill 8 hours if desired (we normally skip chilling it).

Step 2Bake bean mixture at 350* for 1 hour, stirring once.
